I have a love-hate relationship with skanks. I love them for all the great reasons that they are skanks, and hate them for being, well, skanks. Merriam-Webster describes a skank as “a person and especially a woman of low or sleazy character.” Which is true. But skank can be used in so many different ways…

“That chick is a skank”

“Her hair looks skanky”

“It smells like a skank in here”

When I looked up the word skanks on yahoo, the first words that pop are: hot skanks, skinny skanks, young skanks, and old skanks. The first word I said was “Awesome!” How can you get any better than an old skank??

I wonder, if you’re a skank do you know it? Do you know that you’re a dirty hooker mess? Are you proud of the fact that people refer to you as a skank? I wonder the same questions about white trash…but that’s for another blog…

Also, how is it that everyone knows a skank? They’re everywhere! Is it really their fault, or is it ours for not making them stop.

Here’s to hoping they never stop…you slutty, coked out, greasy skanks.
