Prenatal?

Prenatal Formula 300 vitamin Tablets for pregnant womenI’m in the process of growing my hair out. Which if you’ve ever had to do it, you know it sucks. Right now it isn’t as bad as when I had bangs and I had to grow those out. I’d have enough will power until they were in my eyes ALL the time, and I’d give up and chop them. A woman with annoying bangs in her eyes, is a women with anger on her mind.

Right now my hair isn’t as annoying as growing bangs out…it just looks a mess. I’ve tried growing it out several times over the past couple years…and it always gets to a point where I can’t take it and chop it.

So I went to get my hair trimmed up a couple weeks ago…being strong and stick with growingbaby-mullet-2.JPG it out…and they recommended prenatal vitamins to make my hair grow faster. I had never heard of this. Then I asked some friends about it who had kids and they were like “Yeah! It makes your hair and nails AWESOME!” So, I figured I should get some vitamins.

Now being the way I am, not wanting kids for a loooong time, I feel funny taking prenatal vitamins. I’m actually afraid of jinxing myself. I’m worried about somehow getting pregnant and having hairy babies with claws. But I do have to say, after a week of taking the vitamins, I do notice my nails are stronger.

Why do prenatal vitamins make your nails and hair so awesome? Is it because it prepares you for years of clawing your hair out knowing you have 9 months of uncomfortable bloating and sobriety and then 18 years of being broke, listening to screaming, and cutting crusts off sandwiches. I think yes!

You’re so funny. Although I have to agree with you as I am growing my hair out too. I went through a good five years of dying my hair a million different colours and getting an assortment of cuts to go with it, and although my hairdresser made a killing off me, it’s time I go back to being the long haired blonde I actually am.

It’s hard isn’t it? I went to my hair dresser two weeks ago and told her what I was up to. She was kinda sad, but see’s it only as a phase…I’ll show her…

Anyway I had her dye my hair back to all blonde, and gave it a nice even TRIM at the bottom. No layers, colour, highlights, none of it.

I just made it through growing out my bangs, which involved using a lot of hair bretts and Hilary Duff-ish poofs. Blah.

Good luck, and just stay away from the scissors. You can do it, you’re not the only one.
    :)
