Wedding Confusion
I’m so indecisive. I can’t come up with one thing I want to do for my wedding. I have over a year…but time is ticking away
and I need to start making some damn decisions!
So, so far I know I want to do black, white, and red. But I can’t find any pictures of black, white, and red themed weddings to steal ideas from! I have no idea what to do for the reception as far as decorations go. I haven’t decided on a cake, invitations, bridesmaid dresses, my dress, a wedding song, etc. There are just so many options, I’m lost in a sea of wedding crap.
My friends Ryan and Katie got married last weekend and their pictures turned out AMAZING (as seen pictured above)! Now I have the inspiration to put my ass in gear and come up with a good wedding plan. Everything at their wedding looked awesome…was it really that easy? Shouldn’t I know exactly what I want and like?
I’ll admit it…I need help! I need ideas and pics! Help me!

I got married last June and had the same problem at one point during the planning! I took advice from other friends who had gotten married, and also frequented theknot.com. They have a lot of great ideas. There is an invitation place in Brigton, RSVP Papers, that has awesome invite ideas (she has a ton of books). Also, there is a bridal place in Fairport, One Enchanted Evening, that is awesome for bridesmaid and mom’s dresses, as well as your own. I’ve sent several of my girlfriends there! Happy planning!

I feel your pain! I’m getting married next July and in a total DUH mode. But i sooo recommend registering for every and all bridal shows i went to one (they’re FREE!!) and the ideas where fantastic plus you get some free crap!

How about a Mad Hatter theme. I was watching WE last weekend, Rich Bride, Poor Bride and they had those colors in their wedding and it was actually pretty cool. Just an idea. Wish you luck on this.

My cousin had a black white and red bridal party. The girls all wore black dresses (I think they were strapless but I’m sure any black dress would be great) and carried red roses. The guys wore the black tuxes with red vests. It looked very very classy.

Have you tried David’s Bridal for ideas! Not even to go there, just to steal some ideas? I can probably help you out with ideas if you don’t mind, not only am I planning my own wedding (for the past 3 years haha), had a baby, it got pushed back, but I along with my mother also, basically decorated my friends whole wedding reception and got nothing but good compliments about it. It does not have to be that complicated or expensive.
