I gotta say I’m pretty irritated with my mom right now. She called me on Friday and said that she was thinking about flying in from St. Louis to visit for a week in September. Which is cool, my mom hasn’t been here to visit in 2 years and I’m sure we’ll plan some wedding crap. But then she has to go and make stupid decisions.

This morning I opened my email to see her flight itinerary for the tickets she already bought. First off, she didn’t check the dates with me. I may have had plans that week…I don’t…but she could have checked. Second, and most importantly, she is flying into BUFFALO! What the eff?? Last I checked I live in ROCHESTER.

So Scott and Sandy were all on her side…”Well, maybe the tickets were cheaper.” Even if they were cheaper, I’ll have to make up the difference shelling out $60 in gas there and back 2 weekends in a row. I’m sure gas in September will be $5+ a gallon.

So, the tickets are the same price! Double what the eff?!? Again, I live in ROCHESTER! Why is she flying into Buffalo?? I really don’t understand. I live 10 minutes from the airport in Rochester…I live an hour away from Buffalo.

I’m no so much mad that I have to drive to Buffalo and spend the gas money as I am that this is a lack of common sense. Next time I visit St. Louis I’ll fly into Chicago and expect a ride.
