Stimulus Check
My stimulus check finally came in! Thanks to my SS#, I was one of the very last to get it. Like everyone else I was pretty geeked…hell yeah I can use $600!! But my better judgment wouldn’t let me buy fun toys or clothes with that extra cash. Instead the money went into a black hole better known as my credit card debt. Boo!
Moments ago I signed away all that lovely money from the government to Bank of America…I hope someone there gets to enjoy it. I know I’d end up paying more money to the credit card in the long run with interest, but it’s hard to think that way when that $600 is in my bank account.
I saw on the news that most people used their check to pay bills instead of buying stuff they wanted. I hope that’s true and the government sends another one out…I think I’ll use that one on candy and male dancers. Make the next check a couple grand though…thanks.

So I was like, “Adam, how come we don’t get Stimulus cheques??”
“We do, they’re called GST’s.”
“Oh.”
Yeah, I paid bills with mine too. Although, for the record, yours was a lot bigger.

At least you guys got them. I have been living on my own for a couple years now while in school but my mom still claims me as a dependant meaning I didnt even qualify for them. I could of used a couple hundred toward moving into my first apartment or paying off student loans or toward a new car since mine is as old as most of your listeners (16 yrs).
