This is the 2nd time Oprah lured me into her trap. B*tch.

I just happened to catch the end of Oprah on Friday and saw the reveal of her new book club book “The Story of Edgar Sawtelle.” She gushed all over it and convinced me to read it. So stupid me went to Barnes and Noble to buy it like Oprah told me to. But I am a sucker for a good book. I have an addictive personality so once I work my way through the first couple chapters enough to get sucked into the story, I can’t put the book down until I finish it. I do the same thing with tv shows - watch a couple episodes, get hooked, then watch the entire season in a couple days.

I hate the stigma that reading gets…”You read books…LOSER!” Or people putting on their facebook and myspace profiles under books: “Books? Whaaa??? What’s that?” Harharhar. Really, when you think about it, how stupid is that? There’s nothing wrong or bad about reading. Actually I can only think about positive effects from reading…but yet apparently you blow hard if you do it. Stupid.

I’ll let you know how the book is…
